Natur-elle strives for designing, producing and selling her products with as less as possible energy en CO2 emmissions.
According to calculations made on www.klimaatneutraal.nl was the CO2 footprint of Natur-elle 1,28 in 2009. By working as mentioned below, our CO2 emissions will decrease. Our target is to reduce and/or compensate every year on our emissions, so that Natur-elle in 2012 will have a CO2 footprint which has decreased with minimal 20%.
Here you will find an overview of the most important activities concerning the reduction of CO2. Improvements which are implemented after 2009 are indicated with the year number behind it.
Designing
takes partly place according to Cradle-2-cradle principle; Our fabric waste is being collected and reused. The smaller pieces of fabrics are ideal as filling of cushions and baby toys. The bigger pieces of fabic are sewed together so that a new colourful fabric is being created, which is a wonderful new organic fabric for some of our products.
Production

- Our sewing ateliers are located in Europa (The Nederlands and Poland) so that the transport distance is relative small.
- Our cutting waste is being collected and reused (see designing).

In our office
